It seems that some day in the near future Poker may be classified as a skill game by the U.S. Gov. and an amendment to the current ridiculous law, abbreviated as UIGEA (since I dislike writing the words), thereby legalizing and legitimizing online Poker in the very country where both were invented (Internet and Poker).
