John DeussBCB's offshore electronic platform provides an ONLINE GATEWAY TO GLOBAL FINANCIAL MARKETS at unprecedented cost efficiencies whilst maintaining the highest quality of services.

Our strategy is the pursuit of excellence in all areas of our business, whilst maintaining a highly liquid balance sheet. BCB's approach to banking is service fee driven without undertaking any basis risk and focuses on 3 key areas:

SERVICES, through the development of practical, innovative products designed to suit our clients' needs.

SYSTEMS, through state-of-the-art computer technology to provide online banking and financial services on a real-time basis.

SAFETY, through conservative risk management preserving the capital base of our balance sheet and liquidity at a level well above international standards.

Whilst our balance sheet is small and our capital is modest, we can boast of having a pristine clean balance sheet that is more solid than most other banks in the world.

Bermuda pursues a policy of admitting only the highest quality individuals and corporations. A sophisticated infrastructure of major law and accounting firms, excellent communication and transportation links, an ideal geographical and time zone location and no Bermuda taxes, are primary attractions for international individuals and corporations.

As a result Bermuda has emerged as the world's premier offshore financial center taking pride in its pre-eminence as an international business community and boasting a commercial insurance market that now ranks alongside those of New York and London.

Financial services lend themselves uniquely for worldwide distribution via the Internet and BCB has formulated an online 24 hour, 7 days a week fully electronic system to provide world class banking, brokerage, trading, investment, trust, custody and E-commerce services.

The delivery of electronic financial services will obviously evolve over time and I am keenly interested in learning from you about your requirements, suggestions and comments on the services we provide and the services you would like us to provide.

Our state-of-the-art "Know Your Customer" rules are designed to service our mutual interests to preserve Bermuda's reputation as the world's premier offshore financial center. We understand that confidentiality and security are the core principles of offshore banking. Whether you bank, trade or invest through us, BCB will use only its own name in executing your trades and investments in the global financial markets.

Online delivery of electronic financial services means just that: "online and electronic". The way you will interact with us electronically will be very different from the traditional ways of banking. Our help-desk services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week but most importantly behind our electronic platform are highly motivated and skilled professionals managing and operating your financial services. When you visit Bermuda we look forward to cementing our electronic interface with a traditional personal handshake confirming that also in the Internet era the client-banker relationship remains one of high-trust and not only of high-tech.
